The short oval lampshade is a “specialty” shade, meaning that it is not appropriate for most table lamps. We use the short oval lampshade primarily for two-light candlestick lamps set on a round base. For these lamps the ideal shade will be short with an oval shape with a wide opening at the top to accommodate the two lamps…the short oval lampshade.
